HP: Sister Talk

[6/2/15, 7:20:09 PM] Flooded Sky: Tai looked through her phone, making sure she was in the right cafe to meet her sister. She already had her coffee, and her furfrou was lying beneath the table. He didn't want to be walking around all day, so he welcomed the break.

[6/2/15, 7:22:34 PM] PC Champ: Ava was arriving late to the cafe, since she couldn't find a sitter for Kameron and had to end up taking the little espurr with her. Holding the little cat in her arms, she walked around the cafe till she found her sister and headed over to her. "Hey, sorry I'm late." She told her sister, rubbing the back of her head in embarrassment.

[6/2/15, 7:24:46 PM] Flooded Sky: Tai looked up from her phone. "Oh! No problem! I was about to call you and figure out where you were anyway. Glad you made it! Couldn't find anyone for Kameron?" Ludwig's nose twitched, recognizing the smell of Tai's sister and her feline. He didn't really feel one way or another about the espurr.

[6/2/15, 7:28:29 PM] PC Champ: She nodded. "Yeah, it's not that unbelievable that everyone I called was busy. It was a bit late notice and all." She replied to her sister, sitting down with the little cat on her lap. He did smell Ludwig as well, and looked under the table, seeing the furfrou laying there. "So, how have you been? It's been a while since we really sat down and chatted like this."

[6/2/15, 7:31:22 PM] Flooded Sky: Ludwig huffed and laid his head back down. Of course Tai had to interrupt his nap with a head scratch. "It has. I've been good though. Working a lot at the groomer's and not much else. What about you?"

[6/2/15, 7:33:39 PM] PC Champ: "I've been good. My jobs going well at the store, though it's been a while that I've gotten any real promotion or raise, so it could be better." She replied, petting her pets head some.

[6/2/15, 7:34:42 PM] Flooded Sky: Tai sipped her drink. "Well, if you're not moving up the ranks, maybe it's time to consider a new job?"

[6/2/15, 7:38:54 PM] PC Champ: "Yeah, I actually have given that some thought... but its' a bit hard to get started and manage... at least without help." She replied

[6/2/15, 7:40:06 PM] Flooded Sky: She raised a brow. "What are you talking about? You've found another job already or what?"

[6/2/15, 7:43:54 PM] PC Champ: "Well... not really, but it can be mine if I prepare for it." She replied, grabbing her phone from her pocket and scrolled through her pictures till she got to an open plot of land, with a small house in the distance. She handed the phone to her sister, and waited to see how she'd respond.

[6/2/15, 7:47:08 PM] Flooded Sky: Tai took the phone in her hand and stared at it for a minute. "Cute place... Where the hell is Raccolto though?" She scrolled through the information and then noticed it was a ranch. Her eyes went wide as everything clicked in her brain. "Wait- You're going to start a ranch? How can you even afford a place like this?"

[6/2/15, 7:50:19 PM] PC Champ: "Well... I heard about Raccolto at work from some customers I... eavesdropped on.." She replied, rubbing the back of her head. "But I've been saving up money to buy that place one day. And thankfully, I've gotten just about enough for it." She told her sister.

[6/2/15, 7:53:09 PM] Flooded Sky: Tai never realized goody-two-shoes Ava was capable of eavesdropping and felt a little pride that her bad behavior had rubbed off on her twin a bit. "Wow- That sounds wonderful. Just like the ranch when we were kids. That's a lot of work just on your own though."

[6/2/15, 8:01:34 PM] PC Champ: She nodded. "Yeah, I remembered how much fun it was working on their ranch, that seeing this as an opportunity, I couldn't believe it." She replied. "I mean, it's not like working for a high end store in Lumiose, but it's still something cool."

[6/2/15, 8:02:32 PM] Flooded Sky: "You'd be your own boss! I mean, for all the hard work you'll have to put in, that's the best pay-off you could ever have!"

[6/2/15, 8:13:23 PM] PC Champ: "Yeah, that's true at least." She replied. "And from what I've read, I can work with mareeps." She replied, hoping Tai would remember how much she enjoyed that at the ranch.

[6/2/15, 8:15:31 PM] Flooded Sky: Tai nodded, feeling a bit jealous. "You'd be really good at it. You always were. The mareeps hated me though and always shocked me. Duckletts never tried to attack me..."

[6/2/15, 8:17:04 PM] PC Champ: "Yeah, I do remember that. That and the frizzy hair you'd get from them too." She replied, starting to laugh a bit at the thought. "But yeah, I know how much you liked the duckletts."

[6/2/15, 8:18:07 PM] Flooded Sky: "Shut up- It was impossible to fix my hair after all that static. I don't know what you did to make them like you."

[6/2/15, 8:19:02 PM] PC Champ: "I don't know either. Guess I just have a way with them." She replied. "And I got shocked too... just not as much as you did."

[6/2/15, 8:20:03 PM] Flooded Sky: "Well if you did get shocked, I never would have known." She took another sip of her drink before continuing. "So when do you think you're heading out?"

[6/2/15, 8:21:14 PM] PC Champ: "Probably a month from now, just gotta make sure I got the money to help get me on my feet and rolling." She told her.

[6/2/15, 8:22:19 PM] Flooded Sky: "Wow- That's not that long." She sighed and thought for a bit. The only way she could raise enough money would be to work extra.

[6/2/15, 8:24:11 PM] PC Champ: "Yeah, but it will seem longer than ever." She replied, looking at her cat.

[6/2/15, 8:24:47 PM] Flooded Sky: "You're going to be all alone when you're out there. Are you sure you're up for it?"

[6/2/15, 8:26:43 PM] PC Champ: "Well..." She started to reply, petting her cat's head some. "I think I'm ready, but also... I don't think I am..." She admitted. "I mean, it's an opportunity I can't pass up, but at the same time... I don't know how often I'd get to see everyone."

[6/2/15, 8:27:52 PM] Flooded Sky: "Yeah... Mom and dad aren't going to move any time though." She was quiet for a while, just thinking. "Can you send me a link to where you found that ranch? Maybe... Maybe there's another one available."

[6/2/15, 8:29:59 PM] PC Champ: She looked at her sister, her eyes a bit wide. "You... you serious?" She asked, since she didn't see her sister really giving up her styling job for a ranch.

[6/2/15, 8:32:26 PM] Flooded Sky: "Maybe I could go back to working nights at the bar. I used to pull a lot of tips in. And frankly, I spend so much time grooming Ludwig, that grooming other people's furfrous kinda gets tedious. What do you think? Would you even want me there?"

[6/2/15, 8:33:53 PM] PC Champ: "Yes!" She replied quickly, before getting embarrassed and clearing her throat. "Uh, yeah... I wouldn't mind having you there with me. It's be good to have my sister there with me."

[6/2/15, 8:35:58 PM] Flooded Sky: She was a little surprised, not expecting Ava to be so eager to have her along. "R-Really? I mean... It's not like we got along that great growing up. If we're doing this though, then it'd be nice to have some family nearby for support and all."

[6/2/15, 8:37:39 PM] PC Champ: She nodded, knowing they didn't have the best childhood together, but she still remembered seeing her sister stick up for her against bullies, and well... she liked having that.

[6/2/15, 8:39:09 PM] Flooded Sky: "Alright then- I'll call the bar and see if they need an extra hand. To be honest, I really missed karaoke night."
[6/2/15, 8:40:13 PM] PC Champ: If there wasn't a table between them, she would have hugged her sister right there, but instead, she sat there with a large smile on her face. "Yeah, I think I went to one of those while you were there. I remember you getting really into it."

[6/2/15, 8:43:24 PM] Flooded Sky: She blushed a bit. "Oh yeah.... I think that was when I was in that 80's rock phase. I was pretty drunk though... Did I get up on a table?" If she was really honest with herself, she never got out of that phase. It was probably one of her favorite genres, and it was so much fun to sing.

[6/2/15, 8:44:25 PM] PC Champ: "Yeah... Thankfully you didn't fall off or flash anyone... but you did make a good show for people to watch." She replied with a light chuckle.

[6/2/15, 8:47:51 PM] Flooded Sky: "I think I got a few numbers that night. I vaguely remember that rufflet dude hitting on you too." She chuckled and leaned back in her chair. "So... We're really going to do this?"

[6/2/15, 8:49:54 PM] PC Champ: She blushed some at the comment about the rufflet, since she never really took to him, and well... that really made her awkward to be flirted with. But hearing the other half of her sister's comment, she looked at her with a nod. "I mean, I am, but I think we really should. It's a good thing for both of us, and I think it would do us well."

[6/2/15, 8:56:20 PM] Flooded Sky: "It'd definitely be nice to get out of this little town. Meet new people. Explore a new place... I bet it'd break you out of your shell a little more too."

[6/2/15, 8:59:14 PM] PC Champ: "Yeah... my shell..." She replied, rubbing the back of her head some. "But yeah, it will be good to get out of the town, and hey, maybe you and I can find someone there for us." She replied, doubting it for herself, but for her sister, anything could happen.

[6/2/15, 8:59:55 PM] Flooded Sky: "Me? Settle down? No way. You're more the type to get a guy and do the whole family thing."

[6/2/15, 9:12:43 PM] PC Champ: "Well, maybe someone can make you change." She replied with a smile

[6/2/15, 10:03:23 PM] Flooded Sky: "That'll be the day." She finished her drink and then started texting someone at the bar. Hopefully she'd hear about that job before leaving the cafe. "Have you told mom and dad yet?"

[6/2/15, 10:04:09 PM] PC Champ: "Well, not yet. I want to have the deal done before I tell them. I just hope the won't be upset with my decision..."

[6/2/15, 10:05:41 PM] Flooded Sky: "Yeah but if you're moving in a month, maybe they should know in advance."

[6/2/15, 10:06:10 PM] PC Champ: Looking down at the table, she thought about it. "Do you think they'll be ok with the idea..."

[6/2/15, 10:07:24 PM] Flooded Sky: She nodded. "Absolutely. I think  the earlier you tell them, the more they'll warm up to the idea."

[6/2/15, 10:08:14 PM] PC Champ: She nodded. "Yeah.... I'm sure you're right." She replied, grabbing her phone once more. "Uh... should I call them, or try and tell them in person...?"

[6/2/15, 10:10:18 PM] Flooded Sky: "How about in person? They wanted to do dinner tonight, right?" Tai's phone suddenly buzzed. "Ok- it looks like I'm all set to start tomorrow night at the bar!"

[6/2/15, 10:12:16 PM] PC Champ: "Yeah, that's true." She replied, and hearing the great news, she smiled. "Glad to hear that Tai." She told her sister.

[6/2/15, 10:30:24 PM] Flooded Sky: "Oh shoot- Actually I promised them I'd be home to help mom cook. You want to come with me now? Or will I just meet you there tonight?"

[6/2/15, 10:32:16 PM] PC Champ: "Hmmm.." She thought for a bit. "I'll met up with you guys later, just to sort of surprise them." She replied.

[6/2/15, 10:39:48 PM] Flooded Sky: "Alright. I won't give them any hints. Think you could find a few potential ranches for me that I can look over at dinner?"

[6/2/15, 10:40:11 PM] PC Champ: "Sure, I'm sure I can do that." She replied with a smile.

[6/2/15, 10:41:40 PM] Flooded Sky: Tai finished her coffee and stood up, nudging Ludwig awake with her foot to let him know they were about to leave. "I'll see you then! Dinner will probably be ready in a couple hours."

[6/2/15, 10:44:09 PM] PC Champ: "Alright, I'll send you a text when I start to head over." She replied, getting up from her chair, waving bye to her sister before starting to head off with her kat in hand.
